Lincoln Heritage Gallery
The Lincoln Consolidated School District has a rich and unique story. It was established in 1924 as a laboratory school affiliated with what is today Eastern Michigan University.
As you proceed along you will learn how the vision of one-man, Dr. Marvin S. Pittman, and with the support of the community, the Lincoln School District united and became the Lincoln of today.
You will also be presented with some of the events and people that have become chapters in our district’s heritage. From the time of the area’s early settlement, to the days of the one-room schools, to the Lincoln Schools of today, we have a proud history to be told.
