COVID-19 (Cornavirus) Updates
2022-2023 COVID Case Communication Protocol
COVID-19 school-related outbreak reporting will no longer be updated after 6/21/2022. Data regarding school-age COVID-19 cases can be found on the K-12 Aged ISD Reporting dashboard and COVID-19 outbreak numbers can be found on the Outbreak Reporting webpage.
Expectations for 2022-2023:
- Please continue to monitor for symptoms daily and stay home if any symptoms develop regardless of vaccination status. We cannot reiterate enough: If your child does not feel well, they need to remain at home.
- Students and staff who test positive need to remain home for 5 days from the onset of symptoms and can return to school with a mask for days 6-10.
- Communications will not be sent for individual COVID cases.
- Communication of positive cases will only be made if there is an outbreak (identified as 20% or more positive tests within 7 days) within a classroom or other identified cohort group such as a club or team, and then only sent to that group.
